NGHS Skills USA Entrepreneurship Team won the state competition on April 25-26th at the Alliant Energy Center. The team will travel to Atlanta, Georgia on June 19-23rd to compete at the national competition!
The team created a business called "Fresh Go." Fresh Go is a concept to reduce food waste, promote healthy eating, and give back to the community by offering fresh meals and eliminating food waste by donating food the various food banks. Products to sell would include a salad buffet, smoothies, and other healthy food choices. The team created a business model and portfolio outlining their business plan. The team was required to present their business model in less than 12 minutes.
Members of the team are Kiehmi Tazeh, Danika Doll, Edan Doll, and Bella Brenkman.
